“ There are a few cafes by the same name in Kuantan, but somehow we are more drawn to this particular one. Being located at the corner lot, and highly visible from the main road had probably influenced our choice. But so far it had not disappointed us.. We had been here before, and my wife kind of like the choices of food being offered. She quickly requested for the Wanton Hor, which is our favorite food during our stay in Ipoh. I was quite hesitant to try the same, as I was adamant that they cannot match the taste of our highly favored Ipoh mali dish..And rightly so, as my wife ended up not finishing her food. Luckily, I ordered the Penang Char Koey Teow, which was not that bad... ”
“ Food is so-so to me, but not worth the price. Nothing special with the food although it's a Nasi Lemak special and it cost me RM17.99. Penang kue Tiow not so bad, but cost me RM12.99. Chicken chop is nice, but cost me RM28.99. Small cup of Vietnamese coffee cost me RM9.99. The taste is nice though, but quite small cup. Sky juice RM0.60. Horlick Cham RM9.99. Nothing outstanding. Overall, I don't think I may come again unless other shops are closed. ”
“ It seems there are a few various versions of this Kopitiam. I saw there's another one nearby. No chance to try the other type of food, but definitely will be back here. All other stuff looks good. If you read the reviews for this place, Wat Tan Hor looks interesting. So does the Nasi Lemak or Nasi Dagang or Nasi Ganu (short for Terengganu, I think). I followed the advice of one of the reviewer, Coffee, Eggs and Toast only for me this round. Verdict - ”
“ This place is crowded. But good and fast service. A little bit on pricey side i think. The nasi lemak is good. They should give more sambal i think. The sambal is good. Chicken is just ok. Not to my liking. Coffee is good. They clean and wipe the table as soon as when people leave. Which is good. ”
“ Local kopitiam vibe. Patronised on a Saturday morning with friends, do remember to pay parking as we were shocked when the officers came to issue summons just soon after 9am.. back to the KMK.. nasi dagang is a must, and the toasts were great too.. however can forgo the coffee because too pricey for an average kopitiam kopi.. ”
